About this role

Growing Home Infusion Company seeking a full-time Registered Nurse to provide in-home infusion therapy instruction and on-going patient case management.

Schedule is somewhat flexible and there's opportunity to earn per diem visit pay in addition to salary. Must participate in rotating on-call schedule.

Company car will be provided, good driving record needed.

Experience

  • In a specialty involving intravenous infusion therapy
  • CRNI preferred
  • Previous Home Health experience preferred

Skills

  • Venous access
  • Able to place peripheral catheter (training available)
  • Intravenous line care
  • Emergency patient care
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills

Provides direct skilled nursing care to patients based on a modified primary nursing approach. Such provision of care includes, but is not limited to:

  • Patient assessment-clinical and environmental
  • Patient/Caregiver teaching
  • Coordination of related services
  • Development and revision of plan of care
  • Skilled nursing care
  • Implementation of physician orders
  • Monitoring of patient response
  • Management of emergency patient needs
  • Psychosocial support
  • Takes professional responsibility for self-protection during required work in potentially hazardous situations (i.e. handling of cytotoxic agents and blood/body fluids)
  • Represents self in a professional and ethical manner at all times.

State Licensure as a RN in each state providing care. CPR certification and Criminal Background check required.

Completes all required patient care documentation and reports accurately and in timely manner.

Communicates with clinical staff, physicians, and other health care providers to assure the quality and continuity of patient care.

Plans daily work activities in accordance with patient needs; may assume on-call responsibility and extended patient related travel as required by company service area. Must be able to assume a flexible work schedule

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $50.00 - $55.00 per hour
