MINT vascular is a dynamic, growing vascular practice that specializes in outpatient treatment for various conditions. We perform venograms, arteriograms, angioplasty, embolizations and stenting in a convenient outpatient center. This opening is for a Registered Nurse for a Vascular office in Kirkwood, MO. Compensation compatible with experience.

Graduate of accredited school of nursing

Licensed by State of Missouri

BLS certification – current for all

ACLS certification

Willing to train the right candidate.

Essential Functions

  • Applies the nursing process in assessment and delivery of care to patients.
  • Demonstrates primary focus on internal and external customer service.
  • Presents self in a professional, enthusiastic, positive and approachable manner.
  • Maintains a professional appearance; takes pride and ownership of work and cooperatively works in a respectful manner with others.
  • Demonstrates accuracy, completeness, clarity and conciseness in communication.
  • Works to achieve accuracy in an organized and timely manner.
  • Provides education to patients/families as needed.
  • Incorporates the mission and vision into daily practice.
  • Handles Protected Health Information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
  • Follows policies and procedures of Midwest Institute for Nonsurgical Therapy.

Specific Functions

  • Within their scope of practice, responds to emergency situations in the office and provides care, until emergency response team assumes care, or situation is resolved. Completes incident reports as necessary.
  • Able to start IV’s and Assist in monitoring & management of patient
  • Give Conscious Sedation as directed by physician
  • Handles the Patient Calls, resolves issues and questions relating to patient care.
  • Follows medication administration and prescription handling according to the policies of MINT and legal regulations
  • Using Sterile technique helps with turning over procedure room
  • Helps to maintain supply levels needed in department
  • Is responsible for self-growth and development and assists with orientation and ongoing education of others.
  • Participates in quality assessment program.
  • Uses resources of materials, time and supplies efficiently and without waste.
  • Maintains BLS and ACLS accreditation and current licensure, as applicable.
  • Ability to recover patients in the holding area
  • Specific training will be given to the right candidate.

Job Type: Part-time - 2-3 Days a week
