PRN position at Martin County Hospital District. Responsible for performing assessments, developing a plan of care, implementing and evaluating care. Administers medications and treatments as ordered by physicians. Directs, monitors and evaluates care delegated to non-licensed personnel. Works collaboratively with interdisciplinary care team. Performs technical services including patient specimen testing, quality control, quality improvement, and equipment maintenance under the direction of the Laboratory.

Requirements

Graduate of a School of Professional Nursing
License to practice professional nursing by the Texas Board of Nursing or licensure from a state within the Nursing Compact
BLS certification upon hire (AHA approved)
ACLS certification required within 90 days of hire
PALS certification preferred
CNOR preferred
Two (2) years experience as a Professional Registered Nurse in an operating room environment preferred
Prior OR experience preferred
