We are actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Part-time Travel Registered Nurse - Infusion to administer IV therapies and serve as a community support worker for our clients.

- Must be comfortable working with clients aged 10 years and older.
- Must be able to complete fingerprinting by the Thursday following your date of hire.
- Must have availability *Monday through Friday, 3 PM - 8 PM, and Saturday hours between 10 AM and 6 PM.*
- Applicants must have *reliable transportation and be willing to travel* to the following locations: Montgomery County, Prince George’s County, Howard County, Baltimore County, Baltimore City, Frederick County, Hagerstown (Washington County), and Anne Arundel County. The good news is that you can specify which counties you are open to traveling to.
*Job Overview*
As a Travel Registered Nurse - Infusion, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality nursing care directly to our patients in their homes or other community settings across your chosen service areas.
*IV Therapy Responsibilities*
- Administer intravenous medications and therapies to patients as prescribed, directly in their homes or designated community locations.
- Monitor patients during infusion therapy for any adverse reactions or complications.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' health status and document findings accurately.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment plans and medication administration.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment by adhering to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques.
- Participate in case management activities to coordinate patient care effectively.
- Assist in the management of patient records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
*Qualifications*
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Maryland.
- Experience in case management, medication administration, or related fields preferred.
- Strong knowledge of aseptic technique and infection control practices.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Compassionate approach towards patient care with strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing environments and manage multiple priorities effectively.
