About this role
Saint Luke's Hospital is looking for a talented Registered Nurse to join the the CV Prep and Recovery Unit as a Clinical Resource Nurse.
Position: Registered Nurse (RN) – Cardiovascular Prep and Recovery
Schedule
Full Time, 36 hours, Swing
The CRN would participate in a multidisciplinary approach to unit improvement projects, set up clinical orientation schedules and check-ins with the new hires, have conversations regarding performance concerns/outline next steps, and participate/facilitate daily, weekly, monthly team communications.
Support the business and quality aspects of an inpatient nursing unit (maintaining adequate staffing with ongoing education, ensuring quality metrics are met and action planned on, budgeting, and PI projects), supporting staff, and ensuring patient safety and outcomes. Promote a healthy work environment by cultivating a culture that employees want to be a part of. This includes regular interactions and engagement with staff, helping work through barriers, ensuring staff have what they need to be successful, holding staff accountable, and being available.
Problem solve daily to facilitate throughput and adjust to the increasing caseload of the labs.
