We are seeking Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) who are passionate about behavioral health and psychiatric nursing to join our clinical team. If yes, here’s how you will contribute to the team
As a Behavioral Health LVN, you will be an essential part of the clinical team responsible for monitoring psychiatric stability, responding to changes in condition, and maintaining a safe therapeutic environment.
Responsibilities include
- Psychiatric and medical observation and assessment
- Medication administration and monitoring
- Responding to changes in condition
- De-escalation and crisis response
- Collaborating with the treatment team
- Nursing documentation and clinical charting
- Supporting a safe and structured therapeutic environment
- Communicating with providers regarding clinical concerns
- Coordinating medical care when needed
- Shift-to-shift clinical reporting
This is a hands-on clinical role where nurses are actively involved in patient care throughout the shift.
Must Have
- LVN / LPN with current licensure to practice in the state
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Basic knowledge of computer use or willingness to learn
Nice to Have
- Behavioral Health or Psychiatric Nursing
- Detox or Substance Use Treatment
- Crisis Intervention or De-escalation
- Acute Care or Urgent Care
- Residential Treatment
- Experience with PointClickCare (PCC)
