Job summary
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) works as part of a multidisciplinary team and is responsible for all delegated nursing care provided to their assigned patients by the assigned Registered Nurse (RN) on duty. The LPN is also responsible for carrying out orders from the medical practitioner and to communicate any barriers to providing service immediately to the RN and the attending medical practitioner. Community Bridges is currently seeking a full time Licensed Practical Nurse to provide integrated behavioral health care at our multiple crisis and inpatient units. Skills/
Requirements
- Associate degree from an accredited school of nursing required. Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited school of nursing preferred.
- 1-3 years of Health Care related experience where his or her prior experience would provide adequate exposure to both behavioral and medical crisis situations preferred.
- Currently licensed without restriction with the Arizona Board of Nursing as a Licensed Practical Nurse according to A. R. S. Title 32, Chapter 15.
- Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) in accordance with A. A. C. R9-10-101.33 and CBI Clinical Policies and Procedures.
- Valid identification required
- Valid Arizona (or Compact) Board of Nursing License Practical Nurse licensure (current and in good standing without restrictions).
