SLB In-Home Care provides specialized pediatric services for children with complex medical needs across Georgia. We focus on compassionate, individualized in-home care that supports both children and their families.
Position Summary
We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our team as contractors. In this role, you will conduct intakes, provide skilled nursing care, and support families of children with developmental delays, cerebral palsy, spina bifida, traumatic brain injuries, autism, low muscle tone, and/or other complex conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care in the home, including medication management, respiratory support, and monitoring of chronic conditions.
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) and hygiene needs.
- Perform client intakes, develop individualized care plans, and complete all required documentation.
- Educate and support families on the care process and available resources.
- Conduct supervisory visits and complete 60-day summaries in compliance with program guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with SLB staff and families to ensure safe, quality care.
Qualifications
- Current and unrestricted RN license in Georgia.
- Minimum 2 years nursing experience (pediatrics or home health strongly preferred).
- Strong clinical skills in caring for medically complex children.
- Compassionate communicator who can build trust with families.
- Reliable transportation for home visits.
This is a part time position.
