About this role
The 7/7 salaried On-Call Registered Nurse is experienced in nursing and handles a variety of hospice nursing care depending on the current needs of patients and the organization. Duties may include hospice patient visits, admissions, responding to urgent night and weekend patient needs, and/or filling in for other nursing staff. The On-Call RN works from 5:00 PM to 8:00 AM Monday-Thursday, and 24 hours on weekends Friday-Sunday, following a rotating schedule of 7 days on and 7 days off.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in state(s) of practice
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required
- Ability to pass background, consumer report and drug test
- Valid State Driver's License
- Automobile in good working order with insurance and acceptable driving record
- HIPAA compliance
- 1+ years of recent experience in hospice/home care preferred
- 2+ years of Nursing experience preferred
