We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our busy, physician-owned dermatology practice. This role is ideal for an experienced Registered Nurse who enjoys assisting with in-office surgical procedures and providing exceptional patient care. Previous dermatology or surgical experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for in-office dermatologic surgical procedures
- Assist the physician during surgical procedures while maintaining a sterile field
- Prepare procedure rooms, instruments, and supplies
- Sterilize instruments and maintain surgical equipment
- Assist with wound care, dressings, and patient education
- Document procedures in the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Process and prepare pathology specimens
- Maintain infection control and OSHA standards
- Help ensure an outstanding patient experience
Qualifications
- Experience as a Registered Nurse required
- Dermatology or surgical experience preferred
- Knowledge of sterile technique is a plus
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and patient service skills
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and team-focused
Compensation
- Competitive compensation, commensurate with experience.
