Pre-Anesthesia Call Nurse (RN) - Hybrid | Full-Time | Monday-Friday

Join our Pre-Anesthesia team in a unique hybrid nursing role that combines clinical expertise with the flexibility of a hybrid role. As a Pre-Anesthesia Call Nurse, you'll play a critical role in preparing patients for upcoming orthopedic surgeries by conducting pre-procedure assessments, reviewing medical histories, identifying potential risks, and coordinating care to ensure patients are ready for surgery.

What You'll Do

In this role, you'll play a critical part in preparing patients for upcoming orthopedic surgeries by conducting pre-procedure assessments, reviewing medical histories, identifying potential risks, and coordinating care to ensure patients are ready for surgery.

RN with a strong background in ICU, Critical Care, or outpatient settings with demonstrated triage experience Excellent clinical assessment and critical thinking skills Comfortable navigating multiple computer systems and technology platforms throughout the day Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary surgical team

What We're Looking For

Education

If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course, required. 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred.

Experience

One year relevant experience, preferred. Licensure/

Certification

Current RN Licensure in appropriate state, required. Advanced certifications as required per facility, required.

Additional Skills (required)

Appropriate customer service, effective and appropriate customer relations, verbal and non-verbalcommunication techniques, interpersonal relationship skills, conflict resolution, critical thinking and computer literacy. Advanced training as required by department. Why Choose Novant Health?
