As a Same Day Surgery RN, you'll guide patients through one of the most important parts of their healthcare journey—providing compassionate care, education, reassurance, and clinical expertise before and after surgery.

What You'll Do
As a Same Day Surgery RN, you will
Coordinate and deliver individualized patient care using the nursing process
Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor changing conditions
Prepare patients for surgical procedures and provide post-procedure care as appropriate
Educate patients and families about procedures, recovery expectations, medications, and follow-up care
Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, PACU staff, and interdisciplinary team members
Accurately document patient care and implement provider orders
Maintain high standards of infection prevention and patient safety
Anticipate patient needs, prioritize effectively, and respond confidently in a fast-paced environment
Support a positive, compassionate experience for every patient and family

Qualifications
Current Montana RN license or a multi-state compact license with authorization to practice in Montana
BSN preferred
Two (2) years of nursing experience in a clinic, physician office, hospital, surgical services, or related healthcare setting preferred
Current RQI Provider (BLS) certification within 7 days of hire/transfer or prior to independent patient care
Working knowledge of nursing practice, patient care standards, infection prevention, HIPAA regulations, and clinical safety protocols
Strong interpersonal, organizational, verbal, written, and computer skills

Day Shift - 10 Hours (United States of America)
Schedule
40-hours per week, 4 10-hour Day shifts.
Logan Health operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week. Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
