Duties

*

  • Primary Registered Nurse (RN) have an assigned caseload of patients and lead the interdisciplinary team caring for those patients. We provide care wherever our patients call home - private homes, nursing homes, group homes or assisted living facilities.
  • In addition to having strong clinical skills, they are generalists on all diseases and specialists in symptom management, requiring excellence in assessment and critical thinking.
  • Hospice Nurses are “teachers” – helping patients identify their own personal goals of care and helping caregivers have confidence in caring for their family member.
  • The Primary Registered Nurse (RN) has a weekday schedule, of Mon-Fri 8am-5pm, with occasional back-up for weekends and on-call. There is flexibility in arranging your daily schedule, which provides a work/life balance allowing time for personal needs.
