UnityPoint Clinic is seeking a compassionate clinical professional to join our team. This position is open to Certified Medical Assistants (CMA), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN), or Registered Nurses (RN). This clinical professional will provide support in patient care, assisting with exams, treatments, and patient education. Responsibilities include assisting physicians during patient exams and procedures, rooming patients, recording patient histories and vital signs, documenting in the EHR, administering medications/immunizations/treatments per scope of licensure, educating patients on health/medications/follow-up care, coordinating referrals and patient care follow-ups, and ensuring a clean/safe/organized clinical environment. Monday-Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM, Full Time with Benefits.

Requirements

RN – Iowa Board of Nursing
LPN – Iowa Board of Nursing
CMA – accredited program with certification (AAMA, NCCT, AMT, NHA, NCMA, NAHP, AAH, ARMA or NHCA)
Valid and current licensure/certification in the state of Iowa as RN (Iowa Board of Nursing), LPN (Iowa Board of Nursing), or Certified Medical Assistant (accredited program with certification: AAMA, NCCT, AMT, NHA, NCMA, NAHP, AAH, ARMA or NHCA)
Prior experience in a clinical or outpatient setting preferred
Familiarity with EPIC a plus
