Registered Nurse

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and physiological evaluations to determine care needs.
• Administer medications and injections with precision, medication management aligned with HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards.
• Conduct diagnostic evaluations such as laboratory specimen collection/processing, phlebotomy, ICD coding (International Classification of Diseases), and wound suturing when necessary.
• Collaborate with other teams for complete patient care regarding medication management.
• Support patients’ emotional well-being through health coaching, pain management strategies including acute pain control, and family education on treatment plans.

*Skills*

• Extensive experience with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth or similar platforms for efficient documentation.
• Strong knowledge of physiology and medical terminology to accurately assess patient conditions and communicate effectively with healthcare teams.
• Experience working in diverse settings such as hospital medicine units (medical-surgical), outpatient clinics (urgent care), long-term facilities (nursing homes), assisted living communities or home & community care environments.
• Knowledge of Workers’ Compensation law related to occupational health cases; familiarity with ICD-10 coding for accurate documentation is preferred.
