(RN) Registered Nurse - Infusion

Moores Cancer Center. Payroll Title: CLIN NURSE 2. Department: MCC Infusion. Hiring Pay Scale: $66.25 - $92.86 / Hour. Worksite: Moores Cancer Center. Appointment Type: Career. Appointment Percent: 80%. Union: NX Contract. Work Schedule: Days, 10-Hour Shifts, Saturday-Sunday. This position requires administering chemotherapy, biotherapy, clinical trial infusions, and other infusion-related services, as well as performing blood work, dressing changes, and injections in a fast-paced outpatient infusion center setting. This position also requires caring for Cellular Transplant patients. This position will be trained to care for patients enrolled in clinical trials. This position requires the ability to assess, intervene, and collaborate with the health care team in caring for a wide variety of oncology and non-oncology patients, including patient education. This position requires expert clinical decision-making and responsiveness to medical emergencies. This position will be able to participate in performance improvement initiatives and unit-based council meetings in helping to strengthen clinical excellence.
