Wellfound Behavioral Health Hospital is seeking a compassionate and skilled Psychiatric Registered Nurses to join our inpatient team. This is a unique opportunity to be a part of an organization changing lives in our community. This is a .9 FTE, three 12 hours shifts per week with rotating weekends.
Wellfound Behavioral Health Hospital is a 120 bed adult inpatient psychiatric hospital located in Tacoma, WA. We are a nonprofit hospital awarded both Department of Health and Joint Commission accreditation.
This position is eligible for a $12,000 Sign on bonus with a one year commitment
Position information
This position promotes and restores patient's mental health in a safe and therapeutic environment through direct nursing care to assigned patients within the nursing process. RN's participate in the care plans of our patients and their wrap around services. They provide physical and psychological support to our patients and provide clinical leadership for other staff on the unit.
Our RN's maintain a hopeful and positive attitude in problem-solving and coping, while promoting and maintaining a harmonious and effective relationships and communications with the patients. They serve as a role model to staff promoting the Wellfound Values, a positive work environment and efficient, quality patient care.

Hourly- $41.12- $76.24 based on the union scale for experience
- Shift Differentials: $4.25 nights and $3.00 weekends
Great benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, and Supplemental Life Insurance eligible the first of the month following 30 days of hire. Employee Assistance Program up on hire 403B with discretionary match for those that participate in the plan and meet work requirements Paid Time Off You will accrue Paid Sick and Safe Leave at 1 hour per 40 hours worked. Paid Sick leave cannot be used until 90 days after your hire date.
Paid Time Off will be accrued based on hours worked and tenure. You will accrue 0.12 hours of PTO per hours worked until you reach the next level of accrual. PTO cannot be used until 90 days after your hire date with the exception of designated Wellfound holidays.

What We Require
Associate degree in nursing, BSN preferred. Current Washington State license without restrictions or accepted compact license One year inpatient psychiatric nursing experience required Candidate should possess strong nursing assessment skills Basic Life Support (BLS) card through American Heart Association or American Red Cross required
Union Membership As a condition of employment, you must join the SEIU Union within thirty (30) calendar days of employment and remain a member in good standing of the Union, unless you submit and are approved for a religious exemption.
