Responsibilities The Cardiovascular OR Registered Nurse provides and coordinates perioperative nursing care by: ● Assessing and reassessing patients. ● Developing, implementing, and evaluating plans of care. ● Circulating cardiothoracic and vascular surgical procedures. ● Coordinating care with the multidisciplinary surgical team. ● Supervising and coordinating licensed and non-licensed personnel as assigned. ● Providing guidance and mentorship to team members and students, as appropriate. ● Maintaining patient safety and established perioperative standards. The Staff Registered Nurse reports to the appropriate manager, director, or vice president.
