The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered nursing care in accordance with the Florida State Board of Nursing and TGH policies. Requirements
- Florida or Compact State RN License
- Associate's Degree
- License Registration - Issued by Florida or Compact State
- Knowledge of professional nursing principles, practices, and regulatory standards as defined by the Florida State Board of Nursing
- Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills to identify physical, psychosocial, and social-determinant-of-health needs
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with patients, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary staff
- Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and accurate, compliant clinical documentation
- Skilled in patient education and care coordination, including management of chronic conditions and complex care plans
- Ability to function calmly and effectively in fast-paced or emergent situations, adhering to all safety and emergency protocols
