Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with current licensure and registration as a Registered Nurse in the State of New York. Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of the New York State Practice Act and the American Nurses Association (ANA) Standards of Nursing Practice.
Position Accountable To
Patient and Direct Clinical Supervisor
Responsible for
Assessing, planning, coordinating, delegating and evaluating patient care utilizing the nursing process. Position
Summary
The registered nurse works in collaboration with other healthcare professionals to determine and meet the needs of the patient. The registered nurse has the primary responsibility and accountability for providing safe quality care to patients through the use of the nursing process as reflected in the Standards of Nursing Practice, the NYS Practice Act and the ANA Code of Ethics.
Salary Range: $40.04 – $55.78
