Requirements
- At least 2 years experience in wound care
- Plastic surgery aftercare preferred
- Proven experience in post-operative nursing care with expertise in wound management, suturing, and aseptic techniques
- Familiarity with advanced clinical procedures such as catheterization, ostomy care, and tube feeding
- Proficiency in using EMR/EHR systems including Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and diagnostic evaluation methods relevant to surgical recovery and wound healing
- Knowledge of infection control protocols and infectious disease care standards
- Familiarity with ICD coding (ICD-10/ICD-9), CPT coding for procedures, and medical documentation standards
