We are seeking a Nurse/Registered Nurse to join our Urogynecology practice. In this role, you will primarily be creating and managing a plan of care for individual patients. To succeed, you should have demonstrated knowledge and skill in current nursing practices as well as a strong desire to help patients.

Responsibilities

  • Perform patient assessments: obtain medical histories, record vitals, document allergies and medications.
  • Assist doctors with minor in-office procedures and exams.
  • Handle patient phone calls, triage, and follow-up messages.
  • Manage prescription refill requests.
  • Calling patients with lab results.
  • Perform in-office diagnostic testing.
  • Deliver pre- and post-procedure education and discharge instructions to ensure understanding and compliance.
  • Accurately document treatments, consent, and clinical notes in the electronic medical record and communicate follow-up plans to patients and providers

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in office setting is preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and client care skills
