Alexandria blends historic charm with easy access to Washington, D.C. Old Town's cobblestone streets and waterfront parks give this Potomac River city a small-town feel, while nearby hospital systems offer varied nursing opportunities. A solid pick for RNs who want capital-area amenities without living in D.C. itself.
