About this role

_*Champion Services, is a Home and Community-based Services (HCS) Provider within the DFW Metroplex. The company provides services for people with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) in group homes, family homes and day program. As an HCS provider our goal is to provide the individuals we serve with the highest possible quality of life.*_

A successful Registered Nurse in this position is someone that enjoys hands-on care and visiting with our individuals in their home but is also able to adequately complete the administrative duties that the position requires. The RN will be required to train other team members and work through others to ensure the highest quality of care for the individuals we serve.

*Job Responsibilities*

  • Implement health care procedures ordered/prescribed by a physician or medical practitioner
  • Administer medications to patients and monitor patients for reactions or side effects
  • Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions and vital signs
  • Consult & Coordinate with team members to assess, plan, implement/evaluate patient pla
