Position Summary
Seeking an experienced clinical professional to serve as a field-based clinical resource supporting vascular and interventional products and procedures. This role is ideal for a Cath Lab Nurse, Cath Lab Technologist, RCIS, Radiologic Technologist, or similar clinical professional looking to leverage hands-on procedural experience in a customer-facing medical device environment.
The Clinical Development Manager will provide clinical education, product training, and procedural support to physicians, Cath Lab and Radiology staff, sales representatives, and other healthcare professionals. The position combines clinical expertise with customer education and field support and requires regular travel to healthcare facilities throughout the assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as a clinical subject matter expert for vascular and interventional products and procedures.
Provide hands-on clinical support, education, and product training to physicians, nurses, technicians, and other healthcare professionals.
Lead the clinical aspects of product evaluations, account trials, conversions, and new product introductions.
Conduct in-services and training at customer locations, with approximately 50% field-based customer support and travel .
Partner closely with regional sales and clinical teams to support customer needs and product adoption.
Respond to clinical and procedural questions from physicians, technicians, and sales representatives.
Document customer feedback, opportunities, and account activity within CRM systems.
Support field-based market research and product evaluation initiatives.
Qualifications
Clinical background such as RN, RT, RCIS, PA, Cath Lab Technologist, or comparable procedural experience .
Minimum of 3 years of experience directly supporting interventional, cardiovascular, vascular, or related procedures .
Cath Lab experience is strongly preferred.
Five or more years of experience in a procedural medical environment is a plus.
Strong communication, presentation, and clinical education skills.
Ability to build relationships with physicians, clinical staff, and commercial teams.
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
Comfortable working independently in a field-based role and traveling regularly within the territory.
