Cooney Healthcare & Rehabilitation is seeking an exceptional Director of Nursing to lead our nursing services operation and drive a culture centered on clinical excellence, accountability, resident satisfaction, and team development.

What You'll Do

  • Provide strategic oversight of all nursing operations
  • Lead, coach, and develop nursing management and frontline staff
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
  • Drive quality improvement initiatives and clinical outcomes
  • Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and resident-centered care
  • Partner with interdisciplinary teams to enhance resident experiences
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, physicians, and staff

What We're Looking For

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Previous nursing leadership experience in skilled nursing or long-term care
  • Strong regulatory and survey knowledge
  • Exceptional leadership and team-building skills
  • Proven ability to improve clinical outcomes and staff engagement
  • Commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality care
