This 24 bed Critical Care Unit houses patients being admitted for cardiac thoracic and vascular care. This unit also entails PCU levels of care. Staffing is 1-3:4. Essential Duties include: Provides continuous cardiac monitoring arrhythmia recognition and intervention; Initiates and titrates multiple complex cardiac related infusions at higher doses; Initiates and titrates drips related to critical care DKA/HHS algorithms; Use of phenobarbital for CIWA patients.
