Experienced Infusion Registered Nurse (RN) – Per Diem
ProNurse Consulting is seeking experienced Infusion Registered Nurses to provide infusion therapy in home and in medical suites throughout Southern California. This position is intended for nurses with demonstrated infusion experience who are comfortable working independently.
Applicants must have a strong background in infusion therapy and be highly proficient with vascular and port-a-cath access and infusion management.

Primary Responsibilities
- Administer IVIG, biologics, SCIg, and other specialty infusion medications as ordered
- Perform peripheral IV insertion and maintenance with a high degree of proficiency
- Access implanted ports, and manage PICC lines
- Monitor patients during infusions and identify adverse reactions or complications
- Perform patient assessments before, during, and after treatment
- Educate patients and caregivers regarding medications, infusion therapy, and potential side effects
- Communicate effectively with physicians, pharmacies, and care teams regarding patient status
- Complete accurate and timely electronic documentation
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA, infection-control standards, and company policies
Minimum Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted California Registered Nurse license
- Minimum two (2) years of clinical nursing experience
- Minimum one (1) year of infusion nursing experience required
- Demonstrated experience administering specialty infusions such as IVIG, SCIg , and biologics
- Strong proficiency in peripheral IV insertion
- Experience accessing implanted ports and managing PICC lines
- Current BLS certification
- Reliable transportation, valid California driver’s license, and current auto insurance
- Ability to work independently and confidently in patients’ homes and in medical suites
- Strong assessment, communication, and critical-thinking skills
- Computer proficiency and ability to complete electronic documentation
Preferred Qualifications
- Home infusion experience
- CRNI certification
- Experience with specialty pharmacy patients
- Experience managing complex infusion therapies and central venous access devices

Pay Rate
$70 - $80 / hr
