Overview

This position involves providing comprehensive inpatient nursing care, including assessments, treatment, medication administration, and patient education. The RN collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs are met throughout hospitalization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform assessments and address patient and family needs across care continuum.
  • Coordinate and execute care plans, including discharge planning and education.
  • Administer treatments, medications, and diagnostic tests per policies.
  • Evaluate and revise care based on patient responses.
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to resolve patient needs.
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and participate in evidence-based decision-making.
  • Contribute to quality improvement, safety initiatives, and unit goals.
