*PACU / Pre-Op Registered Nurse – No Call, No Weekends, No Holidays*
A growing outpatient surgery center is adding an experienced *PACU / Pre-Op Registered Nurse* to its team following a nearly 74% increase in monthly surgical volume. The center specializes in ENT and ophthalmology procedures and is looking for a nurse who wants to join a growing team while enjoying a predictable schedule, competitive pay, and strong work-life balance.

- Surgical schedule is known approximately two weeks in advance
- Staggered start times based on the surgical schedule
- Typical start times around 6:30 AM, 7:30 AM, or after 8:00 AM
- Most days end between *5:00 and 5:30 PM*
- On rare occasions, the team may stay until approximately *6:00 PM*
- Guaranteed 40 hours available for nurses who want them
Leadership understands that employees have lives outside of work and is willing to work with team members who have appointments, family responsibilities, or other personal commitments.
Experience
PACU or Pre-Op experience is strongly preferred, particularly experience in an outpatient or ambulatory surgery setting.
*ICU RNs are also encouraged to apply. The center is willing to train experienced ICU nurses who are interested in transitioning into an outpatient PACU / Pre-Op role.*
Candidates with hospital-based PACU experience who are interested in transitioning to an outpatient environment are also encouraged to apply.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable caring for surgical patients before and after procedures, monitoring recovery, assessing patients for discharge readiness, and working closely with the OR and surgical team to keep the day running efficiently.

The center regularly makes an effort to recognize and reward its team. Recently, employees participated in a bowling night where the winning team was supposed to receive two additional PTO days. The Administrator ultimately decided to give the two additional PTO days to everyone.
When cases finish early on a Friday, leadership has even allowed employees to leave early while still paying them for their full scheduled hours.
