Clinical Registered Nurse

The Clinical Registered Nurse (RN) provides nursing care to patients living with HIV or those at risk for HIV in an outpatient ambulatory clinic. The Clinical RN administratively reports to the Clinic Nurse Manager and is clinically supervised by the Medical Director. Responsibilities include performing STI assessments and treatments, supporting physicians and nurse practitioners, administering medications and vaccines, obtaining specimens for screening tests, providing adherence and risk reduction counseling, performing in-person and phone triage, reporting infectious diseases, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and functioning as clinic charge nurse in the absence of the Clinic Nurse Manager.

Minimum qualifications include a Georgia Licensed RN with 2-3 years of experience in a clinical setting. Preferences for outpatient ambulatory care clinic experience, STI and HIV care experience, National HIV certification, and bilingual Spanish/English.
