Compensation & Benefits
Base Salary: $40,296 – $57,391 annually (commensurate with qualifications and experience), with opportunities to earn up to an extra $13,000 via voluntary evening and summer courses.
Relocation Package: Comprehensive relocation assistance is available to support and ease your transition from the metro area to Central New York.
Hours & Shifts: Standard schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:15 AM – 3:10 PM. During clinical rotation periods (occurring 2–3 days weekly from December to June), hours adjust to 6:30 AM – 1:30 PM.

Role Overview
Transition out of acute care and step into an educational environment where your real-world clinical insights drive student success. In this position, you will head the adult Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) curriculum, guiding students through traditional lectures, practical simulation labs, and hands-on clinical training. The program provides robust institutional support and onboarding resources, making the shift from clinical practice to educator seamless and fulfilling.
Core Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive nursing education covering the biological, psychological, and physical aspects of patient healthcare.
Direct, assess, and support students during their clinical site rotations located within a 16-mile radius of the campus.
Tailor instructional methodologies to accommodate the diverse learning needs of adult students.
Maintain precise, up-to-date documentation regarding student clinical progress and attendance.
Partner with fellow nursing faculty to develop course syllabi, update instructional content, and align academic calendars.
Minimum Criteria
Valid, unencumbered Registered Professional Nurse (RN) license issued by New York State.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, coupled with active enrollment in or completion of a relevant Master's program.
Readiness to pursue a NYS Adult Education Teacher Certification (the employer will provide comprehensive on-site training and workshop access).
Valid driver's license and access to a dependable personal vehicle for commuting to local clinical sites.
Successful clearance of standard NYS educational background screening and fingerprinting.
Preferred Qualifications
