Substitute School Nurse

Danvers Public Schools seeks Substitute School Nurses Reports To: DPS Lead NurseJob Description: Substitute nurses may be assigned daily or in advance, for longer-term or scheduled substitutions. All applicants must pass CORI and fingerprint background checks as per Massachusetts state law. All applicants must provide copies of their current, valid nursing licenses.

Fulfills school nurse responsibilities during the building nurse's absence Administer routine medical care, dispense medication, and provide first aid treatment to students Notify parents of illness and accidents, which occur during school hours and fill out appropriate accidents form Keep daily log of students seen in health roomAdditional Information:The Danvers Public School District is committed to the principle of equal opportunity in education and employment.
