We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team of passionate patient caregivers!
Rehabilitation Hospital of Northern Indiana in Mishawaka, Indiana (South Bend area) is a cutting-edge inpatient rehabilitation facility focused on helping patients reclaim their lives after serious injuries or illnesses. We provide intensive rehab care for stroke survivors, individuals with brain or spinal cord injuries, multiple trauma, and other debilitating conditions. Qualifications
Required
Skills
- Current state license as a Licensed Practical Nurse required
- Current CPR certification required
- One (1) year recent experience in acute care setting preferred

Demonstrates awareness of current Infection Control requirements and practices Demonstrates clinical proficiency utilizing policies, procedures, and guidelines Demonstrates appropriate use of supplies and equipment Demonstrates general computer skills including: data entry, word processing, email, and record management. Effective organizational and time management skills. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to maintain proper levels of confidentiality. Ability to work closely and professionally with others. Ability to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection control standards.
Responsibilities
Under the direction of a registered nurse, provides general nursing care to patients. Integrates the hospital’s mission and “Guiding Principles” into daily practice.
