Summary

The High-Risk OB Ultrasound Tech specializes in performing invasive and non-invasive obstetric and gynecological ultrasound procedures to assist in diagnosing and managing high-risk pregnancies. They ensure accurate, high-quality imaging, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and provide detailed findings to consulting providers while prioritizing patient education, safety, and comfort. Essential Work Functions:Assist in implementing and adjusting patient treatment plans under the guidance of physicians or RRTs Examine and interview patients with breathing and/or cardiopulmonary disorders Perform diagnostics tests, such as measuring lung capacity or collecting blood/sputum samples Administer respiratory treatments, including aerosol medications and oxygen therapy Set up and monitor equipment to ensure the patient is receiving the correct amount of oxygen at the correct rate Observe and record patient status and progress Educate patients and/or family members on how to properly take medication and use equipment Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of CRT practice Required Essential

Must be able to work under close supervision occasionally, as well as working without assistance from other personnel.
