Opened in 1964 as the only skilled-care facility in Minnesota exclusively for men, Mission Nursing Home provides care for up to 70 residents who experience a variety of physical and behavioral health issues. The RN provides nursing care that meets individualized resident needs, using recognized nursing techniques, procedures and established standards based on the Minnesota Board of Nursing scope of practice.

Requirements

  • RN License
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
  • Ability to endure prolonged walking, sitting, standing, use of pulling, bending, and stooping movements
  • Frequently pushes or pulls residents 300-600 feet with weight resistance equivalent to 35 pounds
  • Continuing education credits (CEUs) for maintaining current license
  • Entry level
