Job
Summary
Fulton County Health Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Operating Room team. This is a full-time, first-shift position with a bi-weekly commitment of 72 hours. The role includes participation in a call rotation, and candidates must be able to respond and arrive at the facility within 30 minutes when on call. Flexibility in job assignments is required to meet staffing and scheduling needs.

Responsibilities
- Deliver patient care through the nursing process while adhering to professional nursing standards and FCHC policies.
- Direct and guide the activities of other nursing personnel in the Operating Room.
- Adjust to staffing changes and patient care needs as required.
- Serve a diverse patient population, including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients.
- Maintain physical ability to perform all job functions as indicated in the credentialing inventory.
Requirements
- Hold current RN licensure from the State of Ohio Board of Nursing.
- Preference will be given to candidates with previous surgical experience.
- Ability to provide specialized nursing care, utilizing knowledge from biological, physical, behavioral, and social sciences.
- Maintain competency through a minimum of 24 Continuing Education Credit (CNE) hours every two years.
- Certification in related nursing practices is encouraged.
