Your Role

As Director of Nursing, you’ll play a key leadership role in shaping the nursing department’s strategy, ensuring high standards of clinical care, and nurturing a positive and collaborative work environment.

Responsibilities

Leadership: Guide and support the nursing team with a focus on excellence, engagement, and continuous improvement.

Quality Assurance: Implement evidence-based practices to maintain and improve nursing care standards.

Regulatory Compliance: Ensure full compliance with state and federal healthcare regulations and standards.

Collaboration: Partner with interdisciplinary departments to align care goals and organizational objectives.

Qualifications

An active Illinois Registered Nurse (Illinois) license is required

Proven nursing leadership experience, preferably as a DON or ADON

Strong communication, decision-making, and organizational skills

In-depth knowledge of SNF regulations, care planning, and quality standards

Passion for creating an inclusive and positive work environment
