About this role
Summary
The stress lab RN is responsible for performing cardiac stress testing, under the supervision of but independently of the physical presence, of the cardiologist. Also, responsible for performing holter monitor scanning, according to protocol & guidelines.
Requirements
a. Previous hospital cardiac experience; b. Previous EKG knowledge base, and/or willingness to learn c. Good communication, decision making, & critical thinking skills.
Licenses and
Certifications
a. Valid and active RN licensure in appropriate state; b. BCLS/ACLS trained; c. Certification in the area of stress testing or exercise physiology or willingness to take certification exam.
