About this role
Responsible for supporting the professional development and education of employees, facilitating clinical and community learning initiatives, and assisting in the administration of key educational platforms. This role requires flexibility to provide coverage in patient education and employee health services as needed, while maintaining a strong focus on clinical excellence and staff competency.

- Assist in the planning, coordination, and documentation of continuing education programs for nursing, physicians, and clinical staff. (EF)

- Serve as assistant administrator and content creator for HealthStream or equivalent learning management systems. (EF)
- Assist with clinical case conferences and document attendance in CME Tracker. (EF)
- Issue CME Transcripts upon request.
- Teach Expanse and Glucometer classes. (EF)
- Backup support for New Hire and CNA orientations. (EF)
- Provide support in patient education, including teaching disease management, discharge instructions, and health promotion strategies. (EF)
- Assist in employee health functions, such as immunization clinics, screenings, and exposures. (EF)
- Participate in community education initiatives, including health fairs, career fairs, and other outreach events. (EF)
- Serve as a resource and ambassador for the organization in community health promotion activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the educational, clinical, and operational needs of the organization.
Hospital
- Adheres to organization-wide and other applicable policies and procedures.
- Day-to-day performance complies with the hospital’s Service Excellence Behavioral Expectations.
- Performs within the prescribed limits of the hospital’s Ethics, Compliance and Confidentiality Program guidelines.
- Performs within professional Scope of Practice at all times.

Required: Graduate of an accredited college, university, or school of nursing.
Experience

Licensure / certification requirements
Required: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Texas , BLS Certification
