About this role
*About the role*
We're a QUAD A–certified ambulatory surgery facility in the DFW area seeking an experienced circulating nurse for a 3-day-per-week schedule. Work days are flexible and may vary week to week — we'll build the schedule with you in advance, and in return we ask for some flexibility on which weekdays you work.
*What your week looks like:*
- 3 days per week, daytime hours ([e.g., 7 AM to 3 -7 PM])
- Elective cases with a healthy (ASA 1-2), screened patient population
*What you'll do*
- Circulate for surgical cases from patient arrival through handoff to recovery
- Serve as the patient's advocate and safety champion in the OR
- Maintain sterile technique and manage the surgical environment
- Complete accurate, timely documentation in our EMR
- Assist with room turnover, supplies, and case preparation
- Partner closely with our surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical techs
*What we're looking for*
- Active Texas RN license (or compact state license) in good standing
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- 2+ years of circulating experience (ASC or hospital OR)
- CNOR certification a plus, not required
- Someone reliable, calm under pressure, and easy to work with
