Position Summary
Summary
The Nurse Practitioner assumes full responsibility for the care provided to patients by appropriately coordinating hospital resources and personnel. This includes Case Management, Social Work, Home Care, Nursing and Ancillary Services to facilitate patient throughput in a timely fashion. Consideration is given to the patient’s stage of development according to the life cycle. The Nurse Practitioner is cognizant of the mission, vision an values of Mount Sinai South Nassau.
