Precision Healthcare Solutions is seeking dependable, compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for 1:1 school nursing assignments supporting students with varying medical and daily care needs.

Schedule

Monday–Friday, typically 7:00 AM–3:30 PM*, following the school calendar. Exact hours vary by assignment. Position Type: 1099 Independent Contractor *Pay

Responsibilities

Provide individualized nursing care and monitor the student’s health throughout the school day.
Provide medications, treatments, and specialized care according to physician orders and the student’s care plan.
Assist with mobility, transfers, positioning, and activities of daily living as needed.
Accompany the student on school bus rides when required by the assignment.
Communicate with parents, school staff, and the agency, and complete timely nursing documentation.

Qualifications

Current Georgia LPN license or valid multistate LPN license authorizing practice in Georgia.
Current CPR/BLS certification.
Willingness to provide school bus ride-along support as needed.

Experience with tracheostomy, ventilator, and/or G-tube care preferred.* Clinical requirements vary, and assignments are matched to each nurse’s experience and demonstrated skills.

Pediatric, school nursing, home-health, or private-duty nursing experience preferred.

Off shift, walk the BeltLine (16.7 of 22 miles paved, Eastside and Westside now linked), Piedmont or Grant Park, or Stone Mountain’s 3,200 acres. Eat Buford Highway, North Highland, Westside Provisions, or Decatur’s square—eight Michelin stars and lemon-pepper-wet wings in one metro. Housing is not cheap: listings near $425,000, in-town condos from the $400,000s, Ellenwood and South Fulton the first-buyer math, rents around $1,540. You will likely own a car. Mild winters and patios from March into December are the pitch; traffic, uneven schools, and pocket-level safety are the tradeoffs. Live next to the hospital, not 40 miles out.
