About this role
MaineHealth Behavioral Health is seeking a compassionate Nursing Leader for the 1 North West Coed Adolescent Psychiatric Unit at Spring Harbor Hospital, specializing in care of lower acuity adolescent girls and boys ages 12-18. The Nurse Manager assists the Director in coordination, supervision, and management of all personnel and patient care activities of the unit. Treatment includes dialectical behavioral therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, milieu activities, and skills-based groups.

Requirements
- RN
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or graduate of an accredited Nursing program required
- RNC preferred
- Licensed as a registered professional nurse by the Maine State Board of Nursing required
- 2+ years of psychiatric nursing or comparable experience preferred
- Demonstrate leadership and management skills
- Demonstrate expertise in clinical practice and judgment
- Demonstrate effective communication skills
