About this role
We are seeking a Weekend Charge Nurse (RN or LPN) to join our leadership team. This position is designed to offer full-time compensation and benefits for working two 16-hour shifts each weekend.
As a Charge Nurse, you will oversee clinical operations, support nursing staff, and ensure high standards of patient care are consistently met. This role is ideal for a compassionate and confident RN with strong leadership skills who enjoys autonomy, teamwork, and meaningful weekend work.

Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise weekend nursing staff, ensuring smooth and efficient unit operations
- Serve as a clinical resource, providing direct patient care and support as needed
- Coordinate admissions, discharges, and transitions of care
- Respond to emergencies, resolve issues, and communicate effectively with staff, physicians, and families
- Maintain compliance with facility policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
- Foster a positive team environment and promote high-quality, patient-centered care

Requirements
Qualifications
Education
Graduate of an accredited RN or LPN School of Nursing. BSN preferred.
Licenses/Certification
Current RN or LPN Licensure in the State employed.
Valid CPR Certification.
Experience
Six months experience in a long-term care environment preferred.
