Progressive Care Stepdown Transitional unit within a 171-bed community hospital and regional referral center
Level 3 Trauma Center and Certified Chest Pain Center
Adult and geriatric patient population with conditions including STEMI, NSTEMI, CHF, COPD, sepsis, CABG, acute respiratory failure, and atrial fibrillation with RVR
30-bed unit with patient ratios of 1:4 or 1:3
Uses Medhost EHR system
Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, 3x12s
Every other weekend required
Floating required to Medical Surgical and Telemetry units, including ED holds for admitted patients
On-call requirements with a 30-minute response time when called
Requirements
Active AZ or compact RN license
2 years of recent acute care experience required
Prior travel nursing experience required
AHA certifications required
Additional Information
Provide direct care for intermediate care patients requiring close monitoring and stepdown-level interventions
