Summary
The Staff Nurse is responsible for managing and providing care to the patient and his/her family, and for directing and supervising nursing care provided by other members of the patient care team. The Staff Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, coordinating, delegating and evaluating the nursing care of patients in alignment with the professional practice model.
Required Qualifications
Degree in Nursing from a CCNE (Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education) or Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) accredited nursing program required. Current Ohio license or interim permit. *Experience in relevant care setting preferred.
21 North is a 30-bed unit in the Acute Care Department. We specialize in trauma, orthopedic, and emergency general surgery. This includes patients who are admitted for acute surgical interventions due to motor vehicle accidents, falls, gunshot wounds, and intra-abdominal issues. 21 North is an exceptional place to work and grow your career with unit core values around respect, communication, and safety with every interaction.
