Cardiac Ultrasound Tech

• Perform comprehensive echocardiography and vascular ultrasound imaging to assess cardiac structure, function, and blood flow.
• Assist with cardiac catheterization procedures, ensuring optimal imaging and patient safety throughout interventional processes.
• Conduct cardiac stress tests and analyze cardiac rhythms to aid in diagnostic evaluations.
• Operate medical equipment with precision, including Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS) for image storage and retrieval.
• Maintain strict aseptic techniques during procedures to prevent infection and ensure patient safety.
• Monitor vital signs and interpret physiological data during diagnostic tests and interventions.
• Collaborate closely with cardiologists and radiologists to provide accurate diagnostic information for treatment planning.
• This is a *full-time, salaried/hourly* position supporting both our clinic and imaging center.

*Experience*

• Proven experience working in a cath lab environment or Level I/II trauma center with exposure to emergency medicine protocols.
• Hands-on experience with interventional radiology procedures and cardiovascular diagnostics.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and cardiovascular technology principles.
• Familiarity with cardiac catheterization, echocardiography, vascular ultrasound imaging, and cardiac stress testing.
• Experience operating advanced sonography equipment and performing diagnostic evaluations under pressure.
• Prior involvement in emergency or trauma settings demonstrating adaptability and quick decision-making skills.
• Certification or training in cardiology-related ultrasound techniques is highly preferred.
