This LPN/CMA will support our Urgent Care Team (RNs, Physicians, and other providers). You will provide direct patient care in the ambulatory care setting to contribute to meeting the mission and goals of Essentia Health.

Roles and Responsibilities
Patient Care and Monitoring: Perform routine assessments such as measuring vital signs, recording patient histories, and observing symptoms to assist in diagnosing and monitoring patient health. Assisting with Procedures: Support physicians and nurse practitioners during examinations and minor procedures by preparing equipment, assisting with patient positioning, and ensuring proper infection control. Medication Administration: Administer prescribed medications, including injections and oral drugs, and monitor patients for any adverse reactions or side effects, ensuring accurate documentation.
Coordination of Care: Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans, and assist in coordinating follow-up appointments and referrals. Patient Intake and Preparation: Conduct initial patient intake processes, including gathering medical histories, updating personal information, and preparing patients for examination or diagnostic testing.
This position will work the following

Licensure/Certification
Qualifications
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certified, or able to obtain within 3 months.
