Certification: BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross
Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Diploma, ADN or BSN) Graduate from an accredited school of nursing (Diploma, ADN or BSN program)
Experience: One year of recent RN experience One year of recent experience as an RN

Preferred

Certification: ACLS certification (AHA or Red Cross) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross

The role and schedule

Day to day: Perform telephone triage perform telephone triage and establish care plans
